Wendell Kelly is a Trombonist with background as a ComposerArranger and Conductor.  Wendell performed with the Santa Ana Winds Youth Band during his High School years and began studying the Bassoon, Baritone Horn and the Trombone.  He later went on to study Instrumental Brass at Fullerton College in Fullerton, CA and earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Southern California Long Beach and his Master of Arts from USC Los Angeles.  His private studies include work with Roy Main.  

Wendell has worked on jingles, television commercials, and major films.  He spent several seasons as Trombonist with the House Band on the Howie Mandell Show.

He has recorded with Beyonce, Whitney Houston, Snoop Dogg, The Temptations, Clint Black, The Four Tops, Quincy Jones, Luther Vandross, Josh Groben, Patti Labelle and Toni Braxton.

The Gold & Platinum recordings in which he participated include, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Ritchie, Justin Timberlake and Fiona Apple.  Wendell has played on such stage performances as The King & I, Dream Girls and numerous others.
